What is My Classes?
The My Classes area in Satchel One is where staff can view and manage the classes they are linked to, whether imported from the school’s MIS or manually created within Satchel One.
Staff can mark favourites for quick access and use this as an easy way to view details and take action for groups they regularly interact with.
Find your classes
Click on My Classes from the navigation panel on the left side of your screen. This section displays all your active classes, whether linked through your MIS or manually created.
If you have a large volume of classes here, you can easily navigate through them by using the year group filter or searching for a specific class.
Class indicators
Classes with a padlock icon 🔒 are managed through your school's MIS and cannot be manually edited. In contrast, manually created classes are independent of the MIS, allowing full management within Satchel One.
Favourite classes
If you frequently engage with certain classes, you can mark them as a favourite by clicking the star icon in the top left corner of the class. Classes marked as favourite will always appear at the top of your list for easy access.
💡 If you want to keep track of a class you’re not linked to, simply search for it using the magnifying glass at the top right of your screen, then click the star icon beside the class name! It will now appear as a favourite in your ‘My Classes’ area.
