What is the Parent directory?
The Parent directory allows you to view and manage parents and carers at your school, including updating personal details, managing their student relationships, and sending password links.

π The actions within this section are controlled by the Parent directory
permission.
To access the directory, go to Tools > Parents & contacts > Parent directory.
By default the directory is set to show the parents with students currently on-roll. Parents are contacts that specifically have Parental responsibility for a student at the school.
For other contacts, navigate to the Contact directory instead.
Filter parents
Use the search bar to locate parents or carers by name. You can choose to include parents/carers who are:
Current - Have students currently on-roll
Former - Have students who have left the school
For more filtering options, click More Filters, where you can refine results by:
Site access: Not invited, Have site access, Disabled
Year groups
Registration groups
Priority
Click View on any contact to access their full profile.
Actions
You can select one or multiple parents on the Parent directory and apply changes in bulk:
Select all parents on the current page
Expand the selection to all parents matching your filters
Clear the section
The available actions include:
Send password link - Invite new parents or help existing users recover passwords. It can be used alongside the Site access and Priority filters to target specific groups.
Send message - Contact parents via email using our Messaging app.
Enable / Disable access - Block or re-enable site access en-masse.
