Logging in using Single Sign On

You may have been asked to log into Satchel One using your school email address and password. If so, you won't need to learn new login details for Satchel One!

Firstly, click on the correct option (this could be Office 365, Google or RM Unify), then enter your school email address and password.

Alternatively, you may have been asked to log in with the same username and password which you use to unlock your computer at school.

To gain access to your account this way, click the 'Student' tab at the top of the login area.

Search for your school name, then type in your username and password.

Logging in through your 'Welcome' email

If your school has sent you a welcome email, please open it and click the 'Create Password' link.

You will then be asked to choose a password which you will use for all future logins.

💡 Your password must be at least 10 characters and include a digit, lower case letter, uppercase letter and special character

You will then have access to your account!

Logging in using a PIN

Your school may have provided you with a PIN, which you will need to log in for the first time. You can only use this PIN once to create a password and gain access to your account; then it will expire.

💡 Please note that PINs auto-expire 3 months after being generated by your school.

Select the 'Student' tab on the login page, then select 'I don't have an account yet'.

  1. Search for your school (by name or postcode)

  2. Type in your school email address

  3. Enter the PIN given to you by the school

  4. Tick "I am not a robot" and complete any security tasks if necessary

  5. Click Sign up

  6. On the next screen, confirm your email address

  7. Choose and confirm a password for all future logins

  8. Click Log in

💡 Your password must be at least 10 characters and include a digit, lower case letter, uppercase letter and special character

Your account is now set up and you no longer need a PIN. From now on, you can login using your email address and chosen password.

Forgot your password?

If you have an email address linked to your student account, click 'Forgot password?' to receive a password reset email.

Logging in using the mobile app

The login experience on our mobile app is very similar and requires all of the same information!

Please download the Satchel One app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Open the Satchel One app and search for your school. Then, log in using your usual login details or Single Sign On credentials.

FAQs

Questions

Answers

My PIN has expired. What should I do?

You only need your PIN if this is your first time logging in. If you already have an account, click on 'Forgot password'.

If your PIN expired before you managed to create your account, please ask your school for a new PIN.

My email address was not recognised. What should I do?

If your school email address wasn’t recognised, this means we don’t have your email address on file just yet. Here’s what you can do:

  • Do you have an alternative school email address, or perhaps a personal email address? Please try that too!

  • Ask your parent for a new PIN. They can view this in Settings > Student management.

  • Contact the school's IT team for help.

I can no longer access the email address linked to my account. What should I do?

If you no longer have access to the email address linked to your account, you can use a Student PIN to login and then update the email address to a new one.

  • Ask your parent for a new PIN or contact your school IT team who will be able to provide you with one.

  • On our main login page, select 'I don’t have an account yet'

  • Add your school name, a new email address and your PIN

  • Click 'I am not a robot' and finally click 'Sign in'

I'm unable to reset my password, I'm seeing an error.

"Password reset not available, please use the same login details as you do for other school services, or get in touch with your school administrator."

If you are seeing the message above, your school has disabled Satchel One logins and enabled the school's default login method instead. Here's what to do:

  • Try logging in with your usual school username and password. These can be the same as the details you use to unlock your school computer.

Still having trouble logging in?

Please contact the school's IT team for further assistance. For security reasons, we are unable to provide new login details.
