What are Document types?

Document types allow you to categorise the files shared with students and parents/carers.

They can be created manually or, if you are using Documents import, via scheduled data imports from your external MIS (SIMS only).

I am unable to create Document types in Satchel One.

Please ensure that you have the relevant permissions to access and update document types.

If your school uses Documents import, document types are automatically imported from SIMS via XoD and will need to managed directly in your MIS.
